Sandy Tackett Cancer

Dan Tackett '78 has requested prayer for his wife Sandy who was recently diagnosed with cancer.  She will be undergoing surgery on Friday April 27th.  Dan went through his own bout of thyroid and lymph node cancer 15 months ago and has a follow up ultrasound scheduled for next month.  Please keep them both in your prayers...

    We will be praying! I go for my PET scan on the 30th it has been two years for me.

    You know, I was reading in Isaiah where it says by His stripes we are healed. I looked up the Hebrew word for healed and it means "thoroughly made whole"! Can't get much better than that!

    Thank you all so much for the prayers! They can be felt! Sandy is doing ok for now but is in a lot of pain. We hope to know more about the extent of it later this week or early next week. In the mean time a scan of my neck will be done Tuesday morning.

    UPDATE : The diagnostic reports are in and they didn't get all of the cancer! Sandy has go back under the knife. I have another biopsy on the 15th. Please continue to pray!
